Safeguarding Council at St John's
St John's Safeguarding Council meet once a week to plan competitions, safety themes around school and also plan and deliver assemblies around different types of safety. This team are fantastic role models for St John's Primary School.
My name is Layla and I like drawing and street dance. My favourite thing at school is seeing my friends and learning new things. I wanted to be part of the safeguarding Council because I want children to feel like they can always have someone to go too, and they can share their worries. Safeguarding council meetings with Miss Dean are really fun!
My name is Imi and I like drawing and dancing. I spend lots of time with my family. I wanted to join Safeguarding council because I wanted children to be able to talk to me and not feel afraid about sharing their worries. I want to make sure that they know school is a really safe place for them.

I wanted to be on the Safeguarding Council because I want other children to be able to come and talk to me about their worries and I can help them.
